Provo Whitewater Park: Comments Needed
The Provo mayor recently visited Boulder, CO and was impressed by the whitewater park there. Will you take a moment to comment on his blog and let him know about your desire to have a whitewater park in Provo?

done. thanks for putting that link up afaust. what a killer spot to have a play park.
Amazing stats to see on that blog, from Nick Turner and others. I had no idea the financial benefits that playparks bring, nor that they can be so quick in many cases.
here's hoping they listen to us!

Hey everyone thanks for posting your comments supporting a whitewater park on the Mayor's Blog.
It looks like they are having a public meeting in a few weeks to present and get input on the city's 10 year plan for parks and recreation in Provo.

I think that a respectful presence from the boating community would help reenforce the interest in building a whitewater park and enhancing river access and features.

Come on, skate boarders can create massive skate parks funded by the city. Why wouldn't us kayakers be able to do the same?
