American Whitewater and the Weber River - Help Needed
From http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Article/view/articleid/32539/
Pacificorp, the owner of the Weber Hydroelectric Project (Project), is currently seeking a new license for the Project. As part of the relicensing process, American Whitewater requested that the power company collect and organize information about whitewater recreation use on the reach of the Weber River affected by the Project (The Scrambled Eggs Run). This study was approved and currently being implemented. Your participation in the online survey will help to provide an understanding of the whitewater recreation opportunities on this reach of the river.
If you have paddled the Weber River in the past or paddle it this spring, please take the survey Here.
Also, PacifiCorp will be hosting a Whitewater Focus Group in Ogden, UT on the evening of May 3rd, 2016, at 7pm. The focus group provides boaters an important opportunity to provide input on use patterns and flow preferences for the Weber River. Please contact PacifiCorp to RSVP for the focus group: Miriam.hugentobler(at)gmail.com
The link to the Weber River Whitewater Boating Survey is also posted on the Weber River Hydroelectric Project Relicensing Page.
