Logan river, St Annes rapid
Oct 29, 2011, there is enough water to run St Annes rapid :-)
There is more water above third dam than I expected. Did St Annes rapid a few times; good fun, for October.

Re: Logan river, St Annes rapid
hmm; who knows how to share a picasa album with anyone with the link? I don't want to share it with only Google+ circles...
found it; Actions > Album properties. Should be able to see it now. It was getting dark by the time I got in the boat; I was surprised these photos came out at all. St Annes rapid is a short stretch, but surprisingly fun class III rock slalom. I was grinning to be paddling something in northern Utah in late October without hitting rocks constantly.
Could do more above and below, but it would be bumpier. Monolith looked much more bumpy, unfortunately; but with a rock boat and a high bump tolerance, there is enough water to do most of the upper Logan and Woodcamp.

Thanks to D-Dave for the camera work!
I'd be game to do this today (Sunday) again, if anyones up for it.
