Anyone up for doing some paddling on the Ogden River before the race? I was thinking of trying to hit the Pineview section, maybe meeting at the takeout of the Narrows (footbridge) at 8am. If you are interested, let me know.

Dude, it's going to be fun. I want to do the class 4 section, I am not sure if that's pineview or not. In any case, I am sure there will be people waiting for the release... Does anybody know what time the release is btw?

"I just spoke to Chris Hogge from weber basin water who said that someone from Pineview Water will come in and start ramping up water (from the dam) at around eight am to have it up to 450 from 10 - 1 in the lower part of the canyon."

I love the Pineview section! Mind if I tag along? (another shuttle vehicle for convenience, eh?)
And yes, I'm still available for safety wherever I'm needed.

Going to be up there in the morning as well. Green Tacoma with a shell or pink hero, green fun, red and black all star. Should be two of us. I am not sure if we will be there at 8 or if it will be more around 9.

You are more than welcome to join us Brian. It will be great to paddle with you again. Afaust, if you can make it, we would love to have you join us. If I am feeling good and confident through the Pineview section, I may paddle the Narrows as well, especially if the water is not yet to 450. See you all on the river tomorrow morning!
