Slalom race on the Greys river, WY this Saturday
Saw them setting gates today :-)

"all boats welcome"; bring 'em if you got 'em :-). I think the course will be up Thursday or Friday...
Anyone have a Magnum 80 they might want to bring up? I remember that as being a great boat for gates (if there is a creeker class anyway). I'd love to try a large Burn, Everest, and others in the gates, just for fun.
BTW I see that the Greys gauge referenced by Eddyflower says 148cfs, and "Too Low" right now, that is NOT the case; the gauge stick said (edit: a little under 2.3 feet, Tues Aug 23), and its a great medium-low (non-scrapy) flow, every day. Not sure whats up with the gauge; it is fluctuating wildly; irrigation diversions perhaps..

BTW I believe the slalom course will be entirely in the rapid above Snaggletooth. It is not in Snaggletooth.

Greys was great as always; 2.2 feet yesterday, still a medium flow. The slalom course was disappointingly difficult tho; unnecessarily rocky and somewhat dangerous.

Ummm, yeah. Should I not be?
Anyway... Yeah man, it was fun. Wish it was a little closer. Would do it daily.
