Anybody got any idea what the upper flow limit is for Riverdale. I'd hate to make the drive to find it washed out.

I saw it at 4600cfs earlier this year and it was showing no signs of washing out. It was huge. I don't think it has ever seen flows that big, but it will see bigger soon. Personally I don't like torpedos being hurled at me while I am on a wave. I would much rather be running from point A to point B. Wood is not much of an issue then.

I have not seen anyone on it recently; go with someone, or you will probably be solo.

Correct, it does'nt seem to wash out, just gets bigger and juicier, still more wave than hole but big and powerful. The eddies of course are trickier and the current is booking through there so people have not been going very much. If you are a pro or semi-pro you'll be in heaven, Corey Volt was throwing every trick in the book at 3,500. If your a class 4 boater it will be intimidating.

I agree with our friend from south central. Below 4 grand I have been loving the wave. I tried it at 4200 and it was big and surging and I was having all kinds of trouble setting up to attempt tricks. The wave was riding me a lot more than I was riding it. The wave itself is not scary. It might toss you around but you'll flush super easy. The wood, however, is an issue. Missiles do come flying down on a fairly regular basis. A spotter is nice to have. I would disagree on needing to be pro or semi-pro. I am a pretty mediocre playboater but still find the wave to be fantastic below 4 grand.
