Anyone have an update on Riverdale wave this year? Is there still sieve potential?

Looking at the flow it looks like the Weeb is at lower level for runable. I haven't hit up either the Riverdale wave or OPP before, was thinking about it this evening. Which is better at lower flows, looking for some forgiving play spot to start off the season.

Any thoughts?

If forgiving is what you are looking for.... go to Crystal Wave behind walmart at wall and 20th st in Ogden. The Riverdale wave project is being bid out right now to fix it, the project to fix OPP has already been bid out... its just a waiting game at this point I guess.

Ref the sieve at Riverdale, the top lip of the drop that used to create the wave is very undercut. I wouldn't want to swim above it..

Another option is the Gramercy Bridge wave on the Ogden. Its shallow but has a nice almost river wide wave....

Good flat spins at crystals last night on surfers left. If flow gets any higher may be able to add some elevation to those spins
