Laps on Logan
Hit the Logan town section today at 243 CFS, and it felt more like 300 CFS... not bony at all. With the town section flowing this well, I would assume the upper sections are flowing fairly decently now. I will be heading up there thurs eve or fri morning to check.
Also, IF it is flowing (on upper sections), I will be boating any boatable sections Friday to Sunday. Anyone is welcome to join.
And anyone wanting more than a quick day trip, is welcome to pitch a tent in my (big) back yard (two blocks from takeout) and either... come and go as you please, or... team up with my buddy and I on the river. Then... come back and warm up with a fire, brew and a BBQ at my place. Good way to get warmed up for next week's events. Holler if you're interested.

Re: Laps on Logan
UPDATE (@ 250 CFS): Scouted Logan river from Franklin basin down, and everything is "boatable". I wouldn't take a new boat down from the very top, but my thrasher boat... for sure. Anyway... from top to bottom... Red banks down to the very top of the upper is pretty bony, the upper is quite decent but bony only in spots (monolith looks fun), Woodcamp is pretty bony from Woodcamp down to the turn and then looks quite decent from there through St Anne's (Which looks great) then... down through the rock gardens looks decent all the way to third dam with only a few boney areas, then bridger... is very bony (almost not floatable),... and then the town section- is just grand, of course. Yes it may all be very slim pickin's - easy class II's & III's at this level, but with over 10 miles of "decent" boating on a dry year, is better than nothing... that's for sure! Just holler for my address, number is listed above. Cheers!
