Update:Bridal Veil Flow 2013

Bridal Veil flow update 2013:
I spoke with the water manager for the Bridal Veil section of the Provo yesterday. He said they installed a new gauging system for that section that should be on CUWCD.com with the other gauges sometime in the next two weeks.

Bridal Veil Reach is currently fluctuating between 180-200 cfs and will slowly rise no higher than 500 cfs. Peak flows will be May 16th or 17th and then Bridal veil flows will most likely be over for the year. He said there is no guarantee it will get to 500 cfs at peak, but that it should be close and it won't go higher.

Thanks for the info. Please let us know when the gauge is online. Kind of sucks that it will come online right when the peak is happening and then ready for a drop to nothing. But I guess beggars can't be choosers, and I'm just thankful to have a gauge there now.

Also regarding the peak on May 16/17, is that a guess or is that when it will for sure happen? Might have to look at getting some days off of work in that time period.

Bridal Veil is supposedly at 320 with a 40-80 cfs increase tomorrow that will last through Saturday. Peak is Thursday and Friday and then Sunday it will lose at least 100 cfs.

frack. Sat.'s the bear race. i'd like to see that. BV maybe friday but i doubt it. gotta rehab back so i can run the price, if it goes.
