Ogden area Wed Thur Fri

Anyone want to paddle in the Ogden area Wed Thur or Fri PM,
Hen-Tag, 89 to RW or Rainbow Garden on...?

I'll be there tomorrow. I've got work calls and will be done anywhere between 1:30 & 4:00. I'd like to do a narrows run, but need some support (Bill?) for that guy. Otherwise, I'm down for something else.

what time are we meeting at the rainbow garden put in? I dont think I want to do the narrows yet... its a class 4 isnt it?

Actually, I'm out today. Plans changed and I can't paddle this afternoon. I would be up for Narrows tomorrow mid-day to afternoon.

Could do a Rainbow Gardens lap if you guys want to. 15 minutes to the Sports park. Maybe 20 min to Lorin Farr.

If anyone wants to do the lower South fork Ogden, gonna do that; probably meet 5:30 at Rainbow Gardens footbridge. Text or call if interested, since plans could change.
Will probably do Pineview after, maybe Narrows, or lower half of Narrows.

Ya, the Narrows is solid IV or IV+ @674 (depending on who you ask); south fork has a couple IV moves in a short crux.
The first half of Pineview is III; then it has some IV- sections.

If you haven't paddled on the Ogden, here is a good sequence:

Pineview IV- (@674)
lower half of Narrows - some IV moves at the waterfall and the hot springs choke. If you're totally comfortable on the lower half, then go for the full Narrows. If you don't want the full Narrows, its fun to do laps on the lower half of the Narrows, and run down Rainbow Gardens to the Sports Park.

Wheeler creek is dumping a good amount into the Ogden FYI. Hitting Loren Farr wave at around 430 with Brian.

Anderson - How are you feeling today? I'm sure that swim was quite an adventure...and a good story! You'll nail that line next time (especially with a larger boat).
