Black Canyon of the Bear 2011
Here is the straight dope. Bummer on the randomness. Looks like the odds of running are greatest when Southern UT will most likely be going off. If you ever meet Charlie, please be sure to thank him for his efforts which have been going on for a good percentage of his life to bring these releases.
Cheers!

Awesome! I had misunderstood I guess... Thought that no scheduled releases meant no releases. Glad I was wrong.

It looks like they have a planned release for the 3rd of April.... 700cfs
It would be nice if they did a Saturday every once in a while.

Re: Black Canyon of the Bear 2011
thanks for the head's up, pete. current forecast for grace on sunday is a high of 39 and snow. if the weather changes to near 50, i'm in.
also, joe's has bumped up to 141. hopefully, it will continue to rise...
and, visually, this morning, it looked like they were beginning to let water down bridal veil. still too low, but a good omen...

das gubernator,
at that level, it's much easier to sit on the couches, ride in the school bus, and do your laundry in the washing machine that litter the riverbank...

The portaging lines at Boo Boo really open up at that level, though.

I have vid of when Erik and I were on the bridge waiting and watching for the surge to come... shows low water BCB and then the torrent washing in. Looked (from way up high) that it might be doable at elf

All you'd have to do is run a cable down from the canyon rim, plug injohnnie a. wrote:...at that level, it's much easier to sit on the couches, ride in the school bus, and do your laundry in the washing machine that litter the riverbank...
any one of a dozen TVs, kick back and watch the toob. Cool. Reminds me
