Post by WWRE king of the rodeo Wed 29 Jul 2015, 9:41 pm

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to help an intermediate kayaker learn some flatwater freestyle stuff (double-pump, cartwheels, bow/stern stall, loops,etc.). I just bought a Rockstar and have taken it out only a few times (been able to roll 80% of the time Smile) but am dying to learn how to get it vertical. I live in Centerville, there's a pond nearby, but would be willing to travel on the weekends. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

Joe,

I live in Morgan and have been out of the kayaking scene for 6 years. I just bought all new gear today and I am looking for someone to paddle with. I am also an intermediate to advanced boater and love to play boat. Let me know if you would like to paddle sometime!

Hey Brock!
Thanks for getting back to me! I'd totally love to paddle with ya man, and partake of your playboating wisdom haha! Plus I imagine you're dying to get back out on the water after a six year hiatus right? Better get all that new gear out before the season's over! So I'm about a 20-30 minute drive from the Hen-Tag section of the Weber, that's fairly close to you there up in Morgan right? I get off work on weekdays at 5:00, so I could make it up then but weekends are always better of course. Let me know whenever you're free!

Joe,

I send you a PM with my cell number so we can set up a time to paddle.
