To whoever cut the wood out of the Lower AF....
YOU ARE MY HERO!! On the Lower AF run (from west Timp Park boundary to the mouth of canyon), there was a tremendous amount of wood in Carnage Corner, Boneyard and Squiggles…and it’s all gone. I was up there 2 weeks or so back and all three drops were clogged with numerous logs in each drop. I went for a hike tonight and found all the wood gone. So to whoever the beavers are that did this, thank you, with sincerity.

I know a few of those busy beavers... I too would like to thank them they spent a Saturday in two spots (Carnage corner and Squiggles) I'm headed out tomorrow to clear some more anyone is invited...
I have a dream to run AF from the gauge to the catch pond... It may just be a dream the wood seems never ending.

The lower gauge down? That part may be wood free, all 100 meters or so. If you mean the Sawmill Gauge, that is a good time, which will likely involve portaging regardless of wood removal. Thanks Bill, Rob and Pedro!!

Should have got pictures of Scotticus, with new drysuit protected by jeans and a ski jacket. Looked like he was wading around in the freezing water in jeans.
Rob worked long and hard; thanks again Rob! We managed to break his comealong too.
