Scrambled Eggs
Coming into my third full boating season this year and I've still yet to run this section. I understand this has been going for a while already but according to the American Whitewater site it's currently at 381 cfs and "Below Recom". If not 500 (AW Recom) what is the lowest comfortable level this can be run?
Any info appreciated and if anyone has plans to hit it soon please let me know as I would much prefer to follow a seasoned line on my first attempt thanks. Adam

Re: Scrambled Eggs
Its been running all spring, because they are not diverting the usual 300 (or more, I think they could divert 325) for the power plant. The diversion is below the Weber@Gateway gauge.
Without a diversion, I think 300 on the gauge is a decent minimum for the whole run. You can do laps on the bend and drops at lower flows than the runout below the 3 drops.
But its 373 now, which is plenty of water.
Honestly, the Logan is so much better right now (super scenic, no interstate, no railroad, no dam portage, 3+ times the length, did I mention incredibly scenic?) have you been up there yet?
But if you just have a couple hours, sure, hop on the Eggs. I work late and mainly get out weekends. I could do a lap on the waterfall section at like 8PM though.

Re: Scrambled Eggs
Good info Bill thanks. I do realize that eggs isn't the most scenic or lengthy run but having driven by it on so many occasions en route to Hen-Tag and never having run it well, its kind of like seeing that chute way out there in the sisters know what I mean? Plus it's a step up in class for me so theres that.
I have not yet run the Logan either but would also like to do so hopefully this season before it stops going. Really just getting my boating mojo back from a long off season (should've played more polo) and have been running the Ogden from Rainbow. Did run waterfall last week at 202 and it was interesting. Would be sweet to have a little more water over some of the rocks but still fun.
If you plan to hit anything soon and looking for company/shuttle give me a shout and btw I still have your paddle gloves you lent me last year.
