Beariverfest 2013, May 18th.
Evanston's annual down river race is happening May 18th. Best beginner race on the planet! Same layout as always. Time trials followed by boater cross. A $1000 dollar pot has been donated for winners. On top of which, Utah Whitewater Gear, Wasatch Touring, WRSI, Teton Whitewater, American Whitewater, and the notorious ASK have all stepped up as race sponsors. Should be a blast. Tons of activities for the kids, canoe races and demos on the pond, plus art, beer, live music, and food at the take out. Look forward to seeing everyone.
FYI-Craig Hasser aint making it so the comp just got a little easier...

Re: Beariverfest 2013, May 18th.
The flows today hit 1060-1090. This will be the highest flows we have had the race at...record times expected. In talking with those that are and aren't coming, prize money will be weighted against category participation. The word on the street is that the bridge wave is in and is awesome. The feature by the pavilion is washed out. Looking to put some time in the boat. For volunteers, lets try to meet at the Bear building around noon. I will be up there for a course check/throwing down around 10. Last year I soloed, would love to have someone else along. Can't wait! Going to be fun!

Thanks a bunch for putting this all together, C, and the update on flows and waves especially. See you up there.
