I'm not sure. I've heard Karen's still doing private lessons, but from what i can tell the school is no more.

Karan is still doing privates for UKS, but has liquidated her fleet. The UWC is doing a beginner float on the 27th, and the BYU club actively takes on beginners. Check out the BYU club on FB, UWC has a link in the margin. Also, thinking about it, I think Rob Machol is teaching through Wasatch Touring(in the margin). Probably be the best option, but I haven't heard anything from him recently.

Re: Where to learn to kayak in Utah
Rapid Progression and GEAR:30 have teamed up to offer an Intro to Kayaking class. Three days of classroom and pool sessions, with boat/paddle/skirt included for $150. Our April class has gotten excellent reviews. Everyone was rolling by end of the second class. Our May class is filling up, get with me to register.
Machol apparently isn't teaching for Wasatch Touring anymore.. I heard they offered that instructor position to FSM.
