So while you're jonesing for water, here is an appropriately low-water run, another great Fred Nordquist and Evan Garcia vid, of the Crystal Gorge near Carbondale CO.

This is the first footage I've seen of this run. I guess it was Meatgrinder that I've looked at alot when I worked out there, not this one. If anyone has seen video of Meatgrinder, I'd like to see it.

There are some class IV sections of the Crystal River I'd like to do one of these years.

There has to be more video of this run somewhere; its right by the road.
Crystal River Narrows (the IV+ downstream) at high water, June 8 2004, unfortunately low res very grainy footage of a raft, then a kayaker at 45 sec to 1:30 looks like the start of a potentially bad swim; he seems to be smiling at the end tho.
