North Fork Championship
Had some fun watching folks running the North Fork this past weekend. Watched a guy who was supposedly a teenager, walk up onto the Banks parking lot, having just run the NF in his wavesport playboat. All at just under 5000 cfs if i recall correctly. In any case, the river was cranking.
Met James Byrd and he's set up a world class event some of the more competitive boaters here will definitely enjoy watching or even giving their best shot at if they've got the chops:
The First Annual NFC. Boomer, Bradt, all sorts of pros are in on this and it's going on June 8th and 9th. If anyone wants to carpool up there, buzz me a pm here on the forum and let's talk.

James Byrd is a hell of a nice guy, filled to the brim with stoke, and happens to paddle a boat like we breathe oxygen. In fact, he paddles lines on Houndstooth I'd never imagined. Can't wait to see what he and all the other guys will pull out of the bag on Jacob's Ladder.
So come one, come all, let's go see the show. Boating like many of us have never seen before. Good friends, good water, let the fun begin!

Hoping to head up Fri night/Sat morn, return sunday, if anyone wants to carpool. Would be stoked to see a race on one of my favorite rivers!
