DrySuit rental along the Wasatch Front
Is there any place along the Wasatch front (between say Ogden and Provo) that rents dry suits?

You might check some of the recreation programs at the universities.. I know that up here at USU in Logan they have some whitewater gear. Ive seen everything from creekboats to 16' rafts for rent but im not sure about drysuits. They definately have PFDs and things like that though and its not to expensive.

I see wetsuits and "splash tops" for rent at Weber State and USU, but not drysuits.

That is the kind of stuff that REI sells for flatwater paddling. (probably 3mm farmer john wetsuits (no sleeves), and nylon splash tops with wrist gaskets but no neck gasket.) Last I checked, the REI stores in Utah do NOT carry whitewater gear; just kayak touring gear.
I never heard of anywhere renting drysuits, until I saw the outfitter in Springdale UT renting them for hikers in the Zion Narrows, along with 5.10 Canyoneers (state of the art water boots). That rental package is probably $1500 worth of gear, for ~60 a day. You would be surprised how many people are hiking the Zion Narrows in the winter.
Its hard to even find somewhere in UT that sells drysuits.
Backcountry.com DOES carry IR and Kokatat drysuits now.
This is a very good price on the Kokatat GMER; about $100 less than elsewhere.

Not sure why the IR is more than the Kokatat...

(Honestly, I think the Kokatat GMER is mispriced ~$100 too low. If you want one, get on it!)

You can go to the Backcountry.com shop in West Valley and try everything on that they carry. Looking at their website, they carry a lot of drytops now too. I know Wasatch Touring has drytops, and they are a great shop to support. I just called them and asked if they carry drysuits; they don't. The person on the phone said they have NRS drytops and pants.

So I've used these guys before for a trip. They rent kokatat drysuits and ship them anywhere in the states. I don't think they charge for the day you get the dry suits or the day you ship them (so if you use it in the AM but ship it the same day, its not charged). It worked great for our group because someone was close by and picked them up, but otherwise it was still the best deal I could find even with shipping.
