Swayze beach help?
I'm hoping to head up to Green River this weekend for the Newb trip but have a few questions about camping on Swayze Beach. I want drive my Jetta instead of my Super Duty for obvious reasons and need to know if I can drive down to the beach area in it. Also, I'm a hammock camper and was hoping that there are enough trees around 12 to 15 feet apart and at least 9" in diameter that I can hang from. Any other info about the trip offered up would be just lovely as well.

Jetta is fine as the road to the daily is paved to the take-out; in fact you can drive a jeta all the way to nefertiti if you want The camping area is improved with pit poopers, fire pits, and garbage can. I was there last weekend and the BLM now has a company cleaning the pit toilets every 3 or so days so they smell a bit better. Plenty of trees to hang a hammock. Bring your own drinking water.
